I've been finding these in my yard for the past few days they seem to come around when cubes start to grow along with some type of oyster mushrooms that grow there to.



a.Horse poo/ grass lawn Ga/USA Habitat
b.color of gills are dark brown
c.length of stem is 1.25 in. to 3 in.
d. stems are sight brown,smooth , and are hollow
e. medium brown with light ring on out side of cap, has a hairy/leathrey feel,seems to have a wavy cap as it matures the young ones are circular to bell shaped
f. Spore deposts look to be a dark brown or black
g. bruises dark brown

Hard to tell, but it looks like Psathyrella velutina. Inactive.

i agree with you gumby. but at least your finding those, which means if your in ga, then what your looking for is not far behind.

I have been wanting to find some stronger ones then the cubes that grow here but havent been able to find anything but weilii

Paul Staments says that Cubensis is stronger than weilii.
But then he also says that cubensis is stronger than Ps. cyanescens...
