4 days since inoculation, No sighn of growth

Inoculated 9 336ml jars with 12cc of Ecuador spores 4 days ago, since then nothings happend.. Other than the jars got alittle wetter and warmer.. The jars have experinced major temp flux 7 degree or so.. simply because i had to make a new incubator and my fish tank heater broke attempted to fix it, im worried to leave it on all night, dont want my house to burn down.. Is four days without any growth from ec normal? Im starting to think about abandoning the project, I read up on posts, and most people have seen some growth in four days, and by the sixth its very prevalent.. I'm sure i inoculated right, i waited 8 hours after sterlization of the jars to inoculate.. Made sure i could see a stream of spore water going down the sides of the jars inoculated each jars with 1cc to 1 1/2cc of ec.. I even threw one of the jars out, took it apart smelled it to make sure the jars arent contaminated, and it just smelled like warm moist brf and vermiculite nothing horribly nasty.. Im not sure how long i should wait i beilive its 2 - 5 days.. should i abandon the project or should i wait? if i should wait, how long is it before i should abandon?

It can take up to 2 weeks for first signs of growth. Just wait it out. Things will be fine.

just wait it out, the way things sound you should be ok. you will see it going, just give it some time. one of the most important aspects of this hobby is patience. keep that in mind and you will go far.

if you see nothing after 10 days id throw em out. You should really see some growth from 3-7. If your moisture levels weren't good then it could fluctuate. I just did some jars and had too much moisture so the jars went real slow for the first 2 weeks. I first started seeing growth at day 5 though. Now that they dried out a little they are really picking up, so id say to just be patient and you'll probably eventually see something.

you should look into liquid myc.(honey or karo water). it will give you a huge head start w/ your jars.

I know thats what everyone told me but the, pf tek for simple minds says to use less brf.. Am i doomed because of that ratio.. also is it normal for the verm brf to expand a bit before colonization.. it looks as if my jars have expanded leaveing mudd smudges on the inside of my jars? is this normal

If your incubating (I think you asked everyone ) then I'd wait at least until day 7 to start to worry

o and my tit is probably about a quarter the size of everybody elses tits and i was worried it would displace too much water and burn the house down but ive had it on a few days now since i made it with no problem just checkwater level every couple days i got a see through tit so i know what it is all the time

Is it normal to see your jars have little "mud smears" all over the sides?
