Found some sort of mushroom

I found a small mushroom the other day in one of my friends front yards. there were at least 30 of them. They were short and had a cap that looked almost exactly like p. cubensis (light brown on edges, gets darker towards center, and has that well know little nipple in the center) It didn't bruise blue, and the strange thing was, it was growing on mulch. Is there some possibility that these contain psychoactive materiel? I checked the field guide but I couldn't find it. Thanks.

If it's not manmade, it's not a drug.

Sounds like another Stropharia species to me.
Too bad you didn't take pics for us to see!
