Well, it's most definitly active, looks well grown too. It's P. Cubensis, but as far as strain, there's no way to tell.

Got a question about a substance? Erowid might already have your answer! Have questions about the mushroom experience? The Tripper's FAQ may have your answer or someone else might have had your question before. Id assume you bought strains if you are cultivating and yielding "flushes" usually spore vendors sell by the strain so you usually would already of known...unless you are cultivating from some unknown tranferred mycelium through a friends PF jar's or something. I wouldnt worry about it too much since the strain has very little to do with the flushes when we are talkin Cubensis.

Thats pretty good, Id think contams would be a problem doin that. The extent you'd have to go in order to find out the exact strain probably wouldnt be worth your while-----Microscopy and such

h202 is used in shroom cultivation but only a teaspoon in your mister or humidifyer tub to keep it pure. As far as soaking spores to rid contams, Id assume most chemicals that are strong eneough to kill contamination might be damageing to the spores as well. You might want to start your own topic asking this in the general or advanced mushroom cultivation forum. It looks like you did a good job with that picture above, watever you did, you did right.
