hey all! my friend's cinchilla recently produced an oz all at once of dried shrooms....not bad for a first try! a few of the left over jars were then broken up and transplaned into 24 more jars, and then put in a nice dark place. after abut a week, 15 of them had a thick, black fuzzy mold covering the insides of the jars, and the chinchilla noticed that the closet was getting really hot thru out the day. the chinchilla is a super paranoid creature, and every precaution in the book was taken to keep both the work area and the hands clean. so is this mold directly related to heat? there are some jars growing just fine from the same batch that were kept in a diffrent, cooler spot. any help? thanks guys!
awesome....not aweosme the jars were lost, but awesome that the chinchilla now knows whats up. thanks! btw, what mold is this? are there any additional precautions that could be taken to better avoid it?
