Anyone seen the movie Spirited Away?

I saw it on my most recent trip--crazy crazy stuff. The movie is a trip in and of itself; sort of like a Japanese Alice in Wonderland, but possibly even more surreal, and with more of a cohesive plot. I give it my highest endorsement for sober or intoxicated viewing.
By the way, I'm new-ish here...I just thought I'd dispense with the formalities and just post what was on my mind. Seems like a good community here!

I've watched it sober and not so sober, either way it was awesome!!

Haha, No-Face is really creepy, what with his face and all
Incidentally, while tripping I pulled a lot of crazy religious symbolism out of the movie that probably wasn't intended to be there. Yu-baba was the Catholic God, No-Face was Satan...it all made a lot more sense at the time, haha
My favorite character was that spider-monkey boiler operator guy, forget his name (Kumaji?).

The religious meanings are there intentionally, but no in the catollic meaning. In fact the movie IS about japanese gods.
If you liked this movie check out princess mononoke, created by Miyazaki a few years before this one, but IMHO it's a LOT better.
You're gonna love it, I promise.

I just watched this yesterday and really enjoyed it.
Anybody can recommend any similar anime-type movies?

As mentioned before, princess mononoke is awesome, but if you want to watch a really tripped out anime, check out Cat Soup. It's only 30min long with no dialogue, but has some amazing scenes in it. Very surreal

Laputa castle in the sky, Akira, Gost in the shell, are all very good movies that you may find interesting. I can't remember any other now (I just awoke) but I'll post more if they come to my mind.

very very pretty movie. The story is kind of lame.. Mononoke is also an excellent movie, and that has a pretty good story. Another favorite is ninja scroll
