Having Troubles...

Hello,

This is my frist time growing mushrooms. I got my spores from the Mushroom Mycology Shop, thanks by the way! The Matias Romero was my choice. anyway... i'm using the poor man's chamber and it's been two weeks since the birth day and the mushrooms are growing like crazy. The thing is the mushrooms that are now growing have whitish fuzz on them. what does this mean?

Mycelium growing on the caps is caused by too much humidity.

Oh yea.. and how do i know when to toss the cakes out? I mean it's been a while and they're still producing like mad but they cakes are looking blue/greenish.

hey wait!!!! is the mycelium on the caps or at the bottom of the stems??? sometimes a piece of substrate and/or casing will stick to the cap and mycelium will start to colonize on it (go figure) if it is growing on to the bottom of the stem from the cake then i think that that is not enough air exchange, and last time i checked it was also from too much humidity!!! i heard that the mycelium tries to grow out since theres enough moisture, but theres nothing for it to grow onto. oh well, maybe im just a fuckin idiot!!

it begins with an "m" and ends with an "ushroom"

Right smack dab on the top is where they're getting all white fuzzy stuff on them. It's on alot of them so i guess i'll go with Bob's suggestion. Thanks for your concern though
