Hey Pubbers:
    #4038127 - 04/10/05 06:03 PM (18 years, 11 months ago)

Is there anything more satisfying then learning a new skill, or being capable of doing one more thing for yourself?

i learned alot of new things this weekend about car repairs and stuff like that and im pretty proud of myself.

so what was the last useful skill or ability you picked up? and do you not agree that learnin new shit is the best feeling there is??

Hell yeah! Learning new skills is the cat's ass, especially when you can put those new skills to good use. It makes me feel worthy and more useful.

Learning how to do shit around the house is cool, it gives me a sense of accomplishment and I don't have to call the man to fix stuff.

Indeed Yarry, indeed. Interesting, now that I think about it almost everything in my lifa has been like that: Music, computers, growing mushrooms , etc.

Learning to do cool things by your own is SO thrilling!
Only if I could make LSD

BTW, I'm also very thankful to the shroomery... such a nice hobbie, so rewarding...

im thankful to the great people here who took the time to help me. and i also find it funny that 99% of the people that were dicks to me here when i started are no longer here.

i wish there were a more rapid and consequential way to transfer knowledge and skills to others.

Well, there are always books, but you know... you can't really learn to do something until you actually DO it :strokebeard:
Until then, it's just information made of carbon on a lignine substrate
