when to pin

this is my first attempt at shrooms. this friday i cased to of my pf cakes in straight verm. casing and covered in saran wrap and placed in my ten gallon terranium. temp is 72 deg. with 88 deg. humidity. i keep the entire terranium covered with a blanket so the casing is still in the dark. is this right?
...and also i have noticed mycelium poking out of the top of the verm casing. my question is...
when do i expose the casing to light in order to start pinning?

You should expose your casings to light when you see the mycelium coming trough the casing layer. so you can expose your casing to light now. good luck!

I would cover it up with some more vermiculite, so its all even when it hits the surface, then give light, or not ...whatever! Let us know how it turns out.
