Been playing with Knoppix (Linux)

Anyone here know about Knoppix? It's a Live CD that will boot Debian Linux without touching your harddrive. You can't really save anything unless you do some partioning or set up a USB memstick. I've got it running now except for sound. The only thing you really need to be able to do is boot from your CD. Linux does take some work to get going but you'll never worry about spyware/viruses anymore!

Yeah it's pretty nice. I'd like to try KUbuntu, I've heard great things about that Live Distro. Mepis works well for me.

Only thing about Knoppix is that it's really designed just as a LiveCD. When I installed it to a hard drive and ran apt-get update things just didn't work out that well.
