The book I've most often seen professional mycologists use for quick identification of mushrooms is Mushrooms Demystified by David Arora.

Happy mushrooming!

"Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World" ( the link above) is a fantastic tool for locating and identifying active mushrooms.  With detailed field guides and recomendations of where to find certain mushrooms, you can't go wrong with this book.  On top of that, you can usually find it at your local library, I know i did.  It is extremely good. :mushroom2:
