  Well, foafy wanted to try out a couple poo casings.  And things colonized nicely after being spawned with wbs.  The set-up is an "open top" heat bomb which puts off just a bit of visible water vapor and keeps the "terrarium" humid enough for poo casings.  Foafy also mists the casings when he's feeling extravagant. 
  The terrarium is an old cabinet, with the middle shelf cut out.  In the back, an over-sink floro light is hung on two nails.  The casings are up on a couple small tupperware containers.  Foafy exlpained that, should he wish to do a larger batch in the future, this fruiting chamber could be equipped with shelving relatively easily.  :laugh:
    And, yes, foafy knows he needs to put some electrical tape around the sides of those containers so he doesn't get side pins.  He's on the motherfucker, he tells me.  :wink:

do you have plastic on the sides of the cabinet?

The humidity in the chamber could cause contams to grow on the wood.

hey you stole my idea! great setup! "goofy"s right about the wood though. you could staple stome plastic sheeting around the area to prevent wood rot/mold, etc. good luck!

I was going to do that, but decided not to.  There's plastic on the ceiling of the cabinet area.  I think I'll just use agar's little tip of h202 and vinegar and use that to wipe it down once a week.  But, if I get tired of that I have plastic I can put up and a staple gun.  :guns:
I was actually concerned about putting plastic up and then getting shit stuck in the stagnant air behind the plastic, as I know I couldn't make the thing "air tight."  Dunno which would be best.

Well, no duct tape, but used clear packing tape.  The interior is now like a goddamn translucent slip -n- slide of plastic sheeting and tape.  Thanks for the motivation.  It looks a lot better now.  :wink:

Clear casing containers are not a good thing, I would wrap them in duct tape or double them up with another container lined with foil.
