...I think a good way to celebrate life would be to stop all the bickering, and realize that we're all exactly the same amount of "right" and "wrong".
Shape up, suck up your gut, and smile.
The reason to <insert activity here> is to make people smile.
If you don't make people smile, you're a failure and you need to make yourself laugh at being one.
If you don't smile, you need a hug.
The world isn't *against* you.
You are the world.
Resistance is not existance - one should not refuse to be angry, but one should take a conscious effort to end rage.
Don't stop being angry. Stop doing the things that make you angry.
Other than that, sing and dance, rhyme and create. Draw and shape, color and percieve - put your moment/now into perspective.
"Now" goes on forever. You can't stop existance. You can't escape fate.
The only thing that matters is wether or not you accept it.
^^ I celebrate life by remembering things like this, telling people things like this. I celebrate life by keeping it alive. I celebrate life by spinning the wheels.
I also make and play and listen to music.
Other than that I drink lots of alcohol, do some drugs and experience reality in a generally confused state of consciousness - whatever it takes to keep me happy and the world turning around.
Some day close to now, it will be necessary for me to quit what I'm doing and start doing something else. For me to be happy.
I hope I can do it!
EDIT: BTW, DESCARTES WAS AN IDIOT!

So come on people, i'm looking for a concrete example of celebration of life. Give me a precise activity that deserves to be qualified as that.
Or is it that nobody has actually ever thought of celebrating life, or wouldn't know how to do it?
Well, you have to admit, that's a mighty tall order. Life's going to suck sometimes (as I'm sure you well know), but I find it helpful to keep my focus on the little things that make life worth living. I used to live with my grandparents in Florida, and I got to know some of the older folk. They spent much of their life working, and they had their regrets, but you know, I never heard a one say "I wished I had worked more". Make of that what you will. Enjoy the little things, and the big things seem to take care of themselves.....

i remember one time as i was locked outside for about four hours, i sat down and looked at the stars and realized how huge the universe is and how incredible it was to be alive, and all of a sudden i became extemely thankful for my existence and my heart filled up with emotion and tears came down my eyes. I cried to God. anyone else?
Sounds like you're on the right track there. Good luck, my friend...

I have much fun as possible, and love as much as possible.....I also do my own thing, regardless of how it's viewed.....we each have our own individual paths to follow, and following any other path leads to discontentment and depression.

nah, i don't think so that you can be here while watching tv. being here is not just saying i'm here now do you think your mind is here while you're watching tv?
personally i feel like hipnotized while watching tv. i'm not here while watching tv.

Yes but thats not a celebration of life in its entirety, its only the celebration of our little knowlege of it. The true celebration of life is found when reflecting on the certainty of death, and the fact that we never know when, where, or how it will occur. Really the best celebration of life should be at a funeral, but in our society death has been given s very grim face which does'nt relfect it properly, as death is nothing but a dark jewel, one of great benefit and a source of the deepest wisdom, it reflects things as they are, not as we would like them to be.
