How much of a cake is mycelium?

all that is white is mycelium, it grows inside the seed, throughout the verm, into the cracks.The mycelium eats the flour, so all bu tthe vermiculite will be mycelium in a fully colonized cake

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

Still haven't had a birthday yet or cased anything before... so I'm wondering is the core of a cake vermiculite, or does the jar become 100% mycelium?
