My Casing (Pics)
    #4035075 - 04/09/05 07:36 PM (11 years, 7 months ago)

Well today I took my casing out of the incubator-
(50/50 peat)

Everything look ok? Should I scrape around to even all the white mycelium or just leave it as it is. Also I was wondering how intense my grow light needs to be. Im using indirect light from a desk lamp. Is that fine? Its really dim but there is still light going in the chamber. Also any other tips that I should know before I go ahead and fruit?
Thanks!

Like I want a light that is small and can be stored easily. If I go to wall mart what should I ask for?

Get a grow light from walmart, it's absolutly perfect, not to bright, it has a bluish color to it, and it's only 10 bucks.

lol i have mine under 2,4', 40 watt plant light's, halps to keep the temp up durring the day, which i wont need as much now that it's starting to warm up a little so i will be switching to a smaller light myself. when first fruiting i was just using indirect sun light but didnt like the results and switched to these lights and it started to pin right away.
Peace
(by the way those are 6 1/2 pint cakes, 3 sets of 2, so far i have gotten 1 flush from the middle cake and dry weight is little over 5 grams, just checked tonight and tomorrow morning the other 2 will be ready for pickin. Not as many per cake but alot bigger ones.)
