I am growing 10 BRF & Vermiculite Jars that I inoculated with Lipa Yai spores from Spores 101 (they ROCK! Thanks guys!). This is my second grow and the first one was a pre-inoculated and ready to grow kit of who knows what kind of cubies. Anyway, I'm having tons of success so far for being so inexperienced with growing, it by itself is blowing my mind! Last night, I had a small fresh one and an hour or so later, 5 pinky sized dry ones (length, not thickness). It was a very light trip (unless I just wasn't aware I was truly trippin harder than i thought) but I got the very nice stoned feeling, things got nice and wavy, and the great laughing spurts came along about an hour after eatin the dry ones. I have heard it is good to go light at first so as to avoid the dreaded bad trip! So with all that (and I will try to post pics of them), my question is this. For those of you that have grown Lipa Yai cubies, what did you use to grow them if you did them in jars and were they rather small for you (like less than 4 or 5 inches long, a very small cap, and very skinny when dried)? Although, their growth is prolific as they pin in large masses of about 20 to 30 or more!! Responses are greatly appreciated because I want a stronger trip but I don't want to rip my ego to shreds... YET! I'm a small guy, 18 years old, 5'10", 130 pounds. I've experienced quite a bit of other things so don't worry about saying I should take it lightly! Ok, here's some pics!! Thanks guys!

DAMN! those are some tiny shrooms! I just started growing, and am on my second flush of my first casing. My first flush came out pretty tiny too, but my second has been much bigger, but with less shrooms.
I'm growing amazonians though, not Lipa Yai. I think that as we become more experianced, our shrooms will get bigger...

i've only just started to grow them. 7 other jars are still incubating, 2 of those are close, they just need a few more days to grow through the center. the three I have in there now, I took out early accidentally. i don't have a scale yet, hopefully gettin one soon. here's a pic of what's left after what was eaten last night.

Psilovibe- yeah, i figured it was a bit too wet in there, the mushies are a bit flimsy. think i should just stop spraying in there for a while and hope it dries out a bit?
dr0mni- yeah man, i hope so. pics i've seen on the net of Lipa Yai's are usually quite larger, but that's with casing and probably better substrate, and also large trays, not jars. i might try casing later on, i'm still rather new and paranoid about contams in casing. i do plan on takin these jars, when they're spent, outside and makin a nice little plot of them. it's ok if that doesn't work though. i'll be tryin a few different strains after these are done to see if i can find a good reliable one.
