The Tale of the Everlasting EnviroBag *PICS*
    #4034382 - 04/09/05 03:34 PM (11 years, 7 months ago)

Okay, Today I have for your a tale of the everlasting envirobag.
I bought a couple envirobags from fungifuel a while back, october/november of last year.
This is the tale of one I injected with some b+ spores.
I injected the bag with 2cc of spore, put the sucker in my incubator and let it incubate. Couple weeks and it was ready to go. For the envirobags, i just take them out of the incubator on a shelf in my closet, so they get ambient light, I fruit them in the bag, so this works out fine.
Couple weeks later, i get my first flush.
This picture was taken on
12/21/04

It wasnt a bad flush at all.
I picked them, dunked the myc chunk overnight, put it back in the bag, put a chipclip on the bag, and waited for my next flush.
I got one more decent flush off of it, did the same thing, picked, dunked, and put back in the closet.
After these first good 2 flushes, it started just giving me one or two mushrooms every couple weeks.
I forgot about it for a while (a month), and when i found it, I had quite the suprise.
This mushroom was the only one growing in the bag at the time, this picture is from 02/07/05

Fucking 18" monster!
Almost two months since the first flush. This bags pretty cool.
I picked it, sprayed some water in there, and put it back in the closet.
A pin popped up the next day, it turned into another nice sized mushroom, once again, just one shroom growing.
Picture from 02/12/05

This one was about 15" long, not as big as the first, but im not going to complain, these guys are big.
They didnt weigh all that much though, I think both were between 70-90g wet.
Once again, I just picked it off, sprayed some water in there, and put the chip clip back on.
There was another couple shrooms a couple weeks later, I didnt take pics of them, because they werent monsters or anything.
Once again, i forgot about the bag, went on vacation, and came home to these suckers.
This pic is from 3/22/05.

These guys were weird as hell, all bumpy and twisted. Nothing like the previous tall long shrooms.
This cluster was around 130g wet I think.
So again, picked them off, sprayed it down, and threw it back into the back of the closet. I really wasnt expecting anything else from this bag, its been going for MONTHS. At this point, its been 3 months since the First flush, and this fuckers still spitting out a couple shrooms.
Yesterday i look at the bag again, and yep, one more shroom.
Picture from 04/08/05

This guy isnt too big, but he's kind of hearty unlike previous ones.

So, this bag has been going for well over 3 months, still giving me a couple shrooms, the myc is very dehydrated, since i havent dunked it since january. The myc ball is also damn near 1/2 the size it was when it first flushed.

So, im dunking it now, and lets see how much longer this thing will spit me out a couple mushrooms.

As far as potency go, I have given most of these out to friends and had no complaints from any of the pickings, so I dont think they are getting any weaker or anything with time.

04/09/05 DUNKING, then its going back in the bag with the ChipClip on the top, and back in the closet. Lets see if this thing gives me any more mushrooms.

Also, im suprised this bag has not contaminated, as when i pick the mushrooms, i dont wash my hands before or anything, just open, putt it out, and then put it back in.

If it gives me another fruit or two, ill update this. but so far its been producing shrooms for close to 4 months. I dont remember what date i Innocd it on.
