I plan on getting my spawn bags from mycosupply.

MycoSupply Bags
The length of the bag that needs to be sealed is 8.25 inches. So my question is do you think i could get away w/ using a impulse sealer that is only 8 inches long? or do i have to go get one that is 12 inches long. thanks ahead of time.

i see they can have them custom sized to your needs- perhaps you should email them and ask if they can get you smaller bags, rather than risking using an imperfect seal.
