Would you say that this casing has minor overlay? All of those white areas are thick with mycelium. Birthed 3 days ago.

I don't see overlay, but I would patch those spots if I were you.

I fruited it three days ago. I've patched it twice already; do you think I should patch it again?

I personally would not, since those areas have been exposed to fruiting conditions for 3 days...they should be forming primordia any day now and you might cover it up a bit much. It probably wouldnt be a problem...I just think it looks pretty good as is...thats right were I like it after 3 days, besides 2 very small spots to the bottom left of the pic comming up a bit more...Still though, pretty good IMO.
I doubt following Diver and HippieChicks advice would affect you negativly compared to mine, its just what I'd do..

Looks to me to be a fairly even colonization and at 3 days already in the fruiting chamber your looking pretty damn good! If anything maybe it could have been initiated a couple days earlier either way scats on the money IME again. There a couple of spots that should/could have been patched as soon as they broke through other than that I can't wait to see your pinset
