You are approached by NASA one afternoon at your home. They ring the doorbell and you answer, noodles are boiling and you are in your bathrobe. They ask you if you are interested in flying to the moon on the next shuttle. Once on the moon you actually get to get out and jump around in a space suit.
You have to make the decision on the spot to not go or to go with them and train for a couple years, completely leaving behind your life for those two years (you can speak to freinds/fam on the phone and such from the NASA training center). All of your expenses are taken care of by NASA while you are training but you aren't getting paid for anything. When the trip is over (if you safely return) you go back to your life and try to pick it up where you left it.
Would you go with them or would you stay home and eat your spaghetti dinner forever left to wonder..."what if?"
Another question...say you could bring mushrooms...would you eat them and trip out on the moon?

Yes, I'd drop everthing and walk out the door right now for the chance to go into space. Even if it was just a shuttle trip and not a moon landing. I have always longed to go into space.
No, I wouldn't trip. I would want to be as sober as possible to remember the experience and absorb as much detail as possible. Although, if I was gonna spend an extended period of time on the moon (a few weeks or so) I'd like to trip once. But I wouldn't waste my only day there on drugs.
