St. Malachi's prophecies - two popes to go ...

Well the funny thing is, Pope John Paul II was called "from the labor of the sun". He was born during a solar eclipse and will be buried during a solar eclipse. Coincidence ?
What about the next pope, "the glory of the olive". Will he have anything to do with olives, or trees, or plants, or just a related meaning ?
What about the last pope, "Peter the Roman", we know "the glory of the olive" will be a "transitional" pope, it means he'll not be that much time in power, will "Peter the Roman", the last pope, be there in 2012 ?
Assume and speculate please.

The final Pope, Peter, does not appear in the original prophecy. The name was added many years later by the Church.

If you accept the departed Pope as De labore Solis then there will be one more and that's your ballgame.

the prophecy at the most predicts the end of the roman catholic church..not the end of the world...however..oil depletion..let alone the beligerence of the american neocons..make it very likely that the next pope or his successor will be in line when the shit hits the proverbial fan...
