Condensation
    #402870 - 09/24/01 05:47 PM (22 years, 2 months ago)

Hey All,
1st timer here. I have 4 PF jars going, which are now fully colonized. I have quite a bit of condensation built up now. I searched the archives and most of what I read says it's no big deal. So here's the question. Can someone describe what an appropriate amount of condensation looks like and also what too much condensation looks like?
Mine look like this...there's enough cond. that if I turn the jars upside down, you can see the water droplets fall in that direction.
Also, now that I'm at 100% colonization, can I take the lids off for some air exchange?
Thanks
Rx

Water buildup can damage the mycelium network. I would birth them if I were you and put them in a perlite humidfied terrarium (read: fish tank)...Try the MMGG for terarium help, I found this to be their strongest topic.
