Turkey Tail

Hi all. Are there any regular consumers of turkey tail(trametes versicolor)? I have found some and would like to know of preparations to release medicinals from them. Ive read of one company that does a complex procedure to prepare them as an extract for sale. How effective is boiling? MUst it be for many hours. Is there a more efficient way? I will look it up in Christopher Hobbs' book Medicinal Mushrooms but I am also looking for first hand "inside" info from anyone with experience. thanks
