Zorak's First Flush
    #4027852 - 04/07/05 08:45 PM (13 years, 3 months ago)

I've finally done it.. I have a digicam USB! So here are the pics of my very first flush off my very first cake... this was about 3 weeks ago. The cakes are nearly spent... and I have about 1.5 ounces of dried. They are P. cubensis Brazillian strain. I used PF Tek as this was my first grow. After the summer I'ma start using some bulk tek's... probably grain, then straw and casings. I'd love to here some comments...

Peace and love,

Z

How many flushes did it take to get the 1.5 ounces dry? Is that your first flush? Looks awesome. I can't wait for mine.

My cakes flushed unevenly for some reason... meaning some flushed 2 times and some 3. I had 9 total. I might get as much as another quarter before they are completely wasted.. but maybe not. This is my first grow too. I kinda lost track of which had flusehd and whatnot... but I dunked and roll'd b/t every flush. I've had cakes in the fridge soaking for 2 weeks now.

Nice work and congrads on your grow, but don't soak for 2 weeks man. 24 hrs for cakes is plenty.

Thanks for the input everyone... I was initially expecting more from 9 cakes... but that was just me being a newb... it's onward to bulk for me.

Oh, and I didn't mean I was soaking cakes for 2 weeks.. I meant I've had 1 or 2 cakes soaking for 24 hours about every day for 2 weeks... for some reason my flushes were very staggered so no two were shrooming at the same time.

Peace,

Z
