Casing question
    #4027281 - 04/07/05 06:24 PM (12 years, 1 month ago)

So I have some colonized rye that i spread out in a pan..covered with 60%vermic/40%coir.
Do I need to cover the casing layer with some sort of plastic while it colonizes?

it's a good idea, Glad wrap is what I use, it's breathable but an effective barrier against most things that are going to drop into your casing
