what are you guys using? I have an intermatic that only has 14 on/off switches a day, and it's not enough for my ultrasonic. does everyone here use in-wall timers? Is that the only way to get a cheap one with more programming settings per day? I'm looking for 1 that I can keep my ultrasonic on for 15 minutes every 2 hours atleast.

Most of the cheap ones I have seen are at 15min intervals.

Yes. The cheap wally world timers are fine and only $5. Settings for 15 minute intervals.

You can pick up a 10k ohm resistor at radio shack. Its not hard to splice in. It will cut your out put of humidity a fair amount. I've done it to mine and its running constantly on the high setting. Its produces haze inside, only visible with a beam of light. It'll cost you 2 bucks I think. Do a search on this board something like "10k ultrasonic resistor".
