Rye Grain

Can someone please point me to a good recipe for using rye grain. I have wanted to try it over BRF, but I can't find a recipe. I also would like any information on finch seeds you people may have. I am trying to decide between the three. BRF, Finch seeds, or rye grain. All I have used in the past is MMGG Brown Rice Flour with adequate results, but I want something more, or at least different.

except ive read recommendations to preboil it for an hour with a lot of water (doesnt matter how much, just as long as there is excess water all the time).. wait a while (6 hours? im not sure) for the endospores to germinaet.. then u can kill them by Pressure cooking..

and then u dont have to add any moer water to it when u put it in the jars.. just pressure cook it for 15 psi for another hour liek it says

Do what liquid playa said. Just follow the directions that come w/ your rye. Then sterilize in PC.

Def pre-boil. Normally about 45mins. Just wait until you see a few grains start to split and then stop. Rinse with a kettle of water to remove excess starch, drain in a sieve and fill the jars 2/3 to 3/4 full. Sterilise for 1 hour.

Best to use a polyfil filter in the lid for air exchange.
