It could just be coincidence... it could be all an elaborate plan to affirm the truth of clairavoyant divinition through god's most spiritual vessels.
I believe that witchcraft and foresight into the future is a sin within the bible as well... so  hence the burning of the witches, the conflict with Celtic beliefs systems; Wica (sp?).
Either way, it's certainly odd.... but alas also very general. Just once i'd like to see someone predict an actual name of someone/something without abstract notions that use euphemisms to describe their character... perhaps they could tell something more in depth like their favorite color, family lineage, favorite baseball team, etc...

Interesting stuff. I had heard of the prophecy before, but never really looked into it.
From what I understand the final Pope was not predicted by St. Malachy (who lived during the 12th century) but was added by the Church after the 1820 publication of the prophecies. This begs the question, "Was the final Pope (Peter) added to seemingly extend the papal line as far as could be imagined since there could be any number of popes between DE LABORE SOLIS
and the final pope?
