First attempt no good?

On Saturday morning, I consumed approximately 2 or 3 grams of dried mushrooms that were purchased on Friday night. The person connecting me to the dealer said he had taken about half of an eighth, and he was feeling it a bit... but he was drunk prior to consuming these mushrooms, so I do not know whether or not he was actually feeling the mushrooms. I do not know the species or anything like that. Not sure if I felt any effects whatsoever, but I did notice the following possible effects: colors seemed brighter, music seemed more interesting, smoke from a cigarette was very fun to watch, and I felt more relaxed than usual.

It seems as though there should have been some effects that were less subtle and easily attributed to placebo. The caps are orange/brown/red and have white flecks on them, which I know is characteristic of Amanita mushrooms, but I am not sure if they are ever present on Psilocybin mushrooms...

Looking at some pictures, they do seem fairly similar to these yellow fly agarics:

What I'm wondering, is were these mushrooms actually Psilocybin's, or were they actually Amanitas being sold as psychadelic mushrooms in a succesful attempt to rip off some first timers. Or, were they neither, and am I going to have to either go to the hospital, or die?

There are probably 4 or 5 grams remaining, and I'm thinking about taking them either Monday afternoon, or Wednesday afternoon... Would any tolerance be present on Monday after such a mild/non-existant trip on Tuesday?

Alright, pretty damn sure they're Amanitas.
Be careful if you're in the Roanoke, VA area and are trying to purchase... somebody out there is ripping people off.
Perhaps I'll grow some. But I had hoped to try some out before trying to grow.

Tripping on mushrooms you grew yourself(especially tripping for the first time), is the best way to do it.

Yeah, but growing them yourself requires patience, as well as investment of time and money. I'm not confident enough in my abilities to grow them to even attempt it unless I know that I will be very pleased with the results. Really, I am an incredibly lazy person, and an incredibly incompetent person. I would rather spend a little bit more money to take the mushrooms for a bit of a test drive before I spend a lot of time on something that could easily be a complete failure.
