Good Cover Bands?
    #4018702 - 04/05/05 09:03 PM (13 years, 2 months ago)

Well, I have a craving to go to a good concert sometime soon. My problem is that most of the music I listen to is by bands that are dead, broken up, or just not touring anymore. What I'm looking for mainly are some really good Pink Floyd, Beatles, Doors, or Zeppelin cover bands. Others would be nice, but those are the big 4. I live in the Philadelphia area, so if anyone knows of any shows coming through I'd love to know about them.

Also, while I'm asking about concerts, anyone know of some good festivals in my area as well? I can most likely only travel a few hours away, but I've never been to an outdoor music festival and would love to check some out this summer. I looked a few up but most have little to no information and I have no knowledge whatsoever of that kind of stuff. Your help is appreciated

Anyone? I know I've heard of some good ones but I can't remeber anything about them.

Zoso is a really good Zeppelin cover band. I think they tour the east coast, if not the entire US.

The Wall is supposedly a really good Floyd cover band on the east coast, but I've never seen them.

The Wall is good, they play a lot in chicago (at least they used to).

Kashmir is a good zepplin band from chicago and i think they tour around the US as well.

The Machine is playing a show near me this summer which I plan on going to. They are a Floyd cover band. My friend said they are supposed to be pretty good. Anyone ever see a show of theirs?

There's a band called Rain that played in Toronto a couple weeks ago. Apparently they're the closest thing to the actual Beatles.

In other words, phenominal!
