Hey everybody. I just discovered some leftover shrooms from my last trip that I had forgotten about. They were purchased this past December, about 4 months ago. They were purchased dry, and I assume that they are P. cubensis, but I don't know for sure. They have been stored in sealed plastic bags in a dark place, at room temperature. I think that I notice some discoloration, especially on the smaller caps/stems, but that could just be because I haven't seen them for a few months. Anyway, is there any possible harm in eating them? How much longer could they be stored?
the ones it the second picture look, well, rotten. i don't know though, i've never kept shrooms around long enough to see what they look like, but they look at lot more black than healthy shrooms should.
the ones in the first pic look ok, and yes they look like cubies.
