Yes no-tone, those definitely have the blotch. No need to worry though, as with this level of infection, the bacteria (usually pseudomonas) is innocuous. Furthermore, it is killed by drying. If you're paranoid you can cut out the darker discolored spots before drying/consuming. Nice grow by the way!!

Another alternative is boiling into tea. The boiling water will kill the live bacteria. See if you can wedge a piece of plexiglass into your terrarium at an angle to catch the drips in order to keep them off your fruits. RR

How sure are you about this? Do you have experince eating mushrooms with this level of infection?
There are over 150 dry grams i have that were at the level of infection or less... I would like to be able to keep these.
Please, all posts very welcome.

No-tone, I've witnessed several people eat dried mushrooms that had similar primary infections. I won't lie to you, there is always the VERY remote possibility of an unforseen allergic reaction [remember the bacteria itself is harmless AND dead now], but this is unlikely enough that it's almost not worth mentioning. If you're really worried a/b having a reaction while tripping, you might consider eating a sub-threshold dose of a cap known to be previously infected. Let us know how it goes!

I wasn't worried about a bacterial infection. Unless the bacteria that caused the infection could tolerate extremely low water activities, or it formed endospores, there would be little if any chance of pathogenicity.
The thing i was worried about was the presence of toxins/ secondary metabolites still present on the dried caps.
I suppose however, that the chance of ingesting enough to make one noticable ill might be very low.
I guess there is only one way to find out. The thing is though: Just because I don't get sick doesn't mean my friends won't.
