Just Starting Out

Ok I haven't tried growing yet, right now I am just trying to gather some information. When you use the 50/50+ (Plus) Casing Tek, do you just crumble the cakes in a plastic bag and spread it onto the casing? Do you put the 50/50 into the jar and start like you would with rice cakes? Are the casing and cakes to different teks. I think I am confused about the subject. Any additional info anyone can provide me will be great.

If you are crumbling your cakes= crumble them inot your container and then put your 50-50+ on top the crumbled cakes.
Casing is a non nutritional layer that provides moisture to your cakes and helps ward off evil contams
