We'd always find some bike trails or secluded/wooded areas that we claimed as our own. It was always infuriating when some other group of bastards thought they could just mozey on in :nonono:

We also used to hang out under this bridge a lot... catching crayfish, getting scared shitless by the water moccasins, making homemade napalm out of gasoline and styrofoam  We were a bunch of little pyros, we used to always set fires and they were always just on the verge of being out of control. Lucky for us, we always got them under control at the last second.

Good times!

We had a limeplant that we would go exploring in. One time my buddy, Adam, got mired up in some sludgy lime and he sunk up to his chest!! That shit was funny as hell, but it scared the bejesus out of him! :lol:There was also these gigantic gravel piles that we would climb. I am serious! They were like 80 or 90 ft high! We would get to the top and rest for a minute, then we would back up a few feet, run and jump off the edge. We would drop about 15 or 20 fet until we would sink into the side of the hills and tumble a few feet. Man, that was some fun stuff!!. I bet those are still there, too! I should go out there soon.

 I like this thread. There are so many things I used to do with a bunch of friends. So here's one, we used to take metal pipes about 4 foot long and heat it cherry red with some MAP gas then beat it with a big hammer until it was flat. We bent them up until they resembled a sword then we sharpened them and had LOTS of fun. We cut down bushes, small trees, and even sword fought eachother. I think we quit after some dude we called Big Red came down on someones head with a sword. And this dude wasn't small he was almost 7 foot tall and weighed about 350 lbs LOL

the trails in the woods...

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity. ~ Albert Einstein
