I apologize for the shitty quality, my camera sucks. This picture kinda makes it look bigger than it actually is. Any ideas?

Looks like a "little black spec", as the post title states (pun).

Could be verm, could be bad?

Watch it & if it grows.... it's not verm.

Could it be the very tip of a piece of grain pressed up against the glass?

look to see if it gets an "olive" tint to it, or if you see another one.

hopefully, it is nothing, but these things would be indicative of one of the only known sporulating bacterias, bacillus. single sporulating organism which is usually somewhat foot-ball shaped.

g/l and i hope it is nothing.

I don't think I have too much to worry about. It has been there several days and it hasn't grown at all, it's right in the middle of a patch of mycelium, and this jar seems to be colonizing faster than most of the others. There's another smaller one to the right of it. I'm not sure what it is, but it doesn't seem to be growing. Thanks guys!
