760ml Rubbermaid take-a-long's in the PC right now

The container is made of Polypropylene, but the lid is made of Low-Density Polyethylene. I am going to let this PC for about 20 minutes and see if the lid survives.
If it survives I will fit the lid with a 1/2" hole & polyfill, and inoculate the tubs with a GT liquid culture syringe.
How long do you think a 760ml BRF jar with a polyfill filter would take to colonize 100%?

good luck, sometimes PP will survive PC temps, it really depends on the resin content

I'm pressure cooking it with nothing in it to see if it can withstand those temps. No reason in wasting substrate if it doesn't work. ALso, it is huggeee! 760ml = about 3 1/2pint jars worth of substrate. The polyfill will allow for better air exchange and make it hopfully colonize faster than standard PF jars would.

the lid was warped and I only PC'ed it for about 15 minutes.
The container was only a tad bit warped at the top and a little melted on the bottom (barely even anything) just because of the rack.. which can be solved by placing something under it.
I'm sure covering it with foil would work.. but I'd have no place to use polyfill

Test #2: ---------
Container-only was equipped with 2-layers of foil and a washcloth was placed on top of the racket to prevent burning the bottom of the container further.
Pressure cooking for 15 minutes and will update after completion.

It survived without bending/morphing.
1.5 pints worth was loaded into the container, the rest dry vermiculite on the top. It was loaded in the PC and cooked for 20 minutes. You think it's alrgiht if the BRF is a little clumped on the bottom?

^^ comparison of the Take-A-Long BRF jar (survived PC'ing for 25 minutes and did great!) to a 1/2pint jar.

a 6lb pf cake.
You can use any pp container, well not any but...
Ziplocs work, glad has given me problems, and tupperware is very thick and withstands multiple pc's.
But yah, now this is big...
