Wanted to share my casing method, and also use this post as a date marker to when i cased.
Okay, I uses Peat and verm. I put equal amounts of Peat,verm. In a bowl dry,. added a little less than half a teaspoon of Calcium Carbonate to approx. 2 ounces of verm and peat. then i slowly added water to the mix untill all was wet and then Microwaved for 5mins , let cool . then added a layer of mix about 1/2 inch thick on the bottom then added about 1/4 inch of colonized Sub. then a loose layer of Verm and Peat to the top about 1/2 inch or less to the top. covered and put the trays in the Incubater >
wanted to ask if i should put into fridge after Mycelium starts back up and the into the fruiting chamber.. Please comments of the method... thanks ,,peace

When the myc comes up, just fruit it...

1/4 inch is very thin, you quite likly will end up with small shrooms..just so you know now..

u added a layer of mix on the bottom? I just put some verm there. I don't put into fridge but ive had shit so so shity yeilds. Im not sure cold shocking helps the first flush rumor on the street is to do on 2nd flush could be wrong though.

thanks scat., I also wanted to say that the containers are pretty small so , i guess i was thinking that because its so small of a area that i would only need to make it that thick , i didnt measure , so it could very. Ill keep everyone posted .Thanks again ,.. Holla
