The great herbal experiments begin

I am finally trying to utilize my garden herbs. Right now I have just prepared a rosemary leaf cold extraction olive oil jar. After a month in the sun and daily shaking I will use the strained oil for cooking and in bathwater and report back. I am also going to try and utilize all my herbs. Echinecha leaf capsules, homegrown chamomile tea with fresh lemon blam sprigs, Jasmine flower oil for some aroma therapy, and the list goes on.
Who here in the pub grows and uses their own herbs, and in your opinion, IS IT WORTH IT! Me personally, I get great satisfaction drinking a home chamomile brew to help me go to sleep instead of taking some bullshit like NyQuil or sleeping pills. But this year I am branching out, I will be trying herbal remedies on all fronts. Perhaps if all goes well I will expand my garden next year. GET OUT THERE AND PLANT! before it is too late : )

no gardeners here? I thought the pub would be full of people into that new age, perhaps deem-able ' hippy bullshit ' On the contrary, hippies don't bullshit, and I was foreal Maybe I should have asked the plant heads over in ethnobotanical their own home made herbal remedies, stories, and ideas....

I buy my herbs right now from Mountain Rose. Someday I'll have a backyard with herbs for sure.

I'm growing an ornamental poppy garden this spring, and it's not my fault if papaver somniferum gets in there. Home Depot should have some quality control or some shit.
