Aww.. thanks !
 Fliq

I'm going to send them out eventually. Ever since my final project for my music degree("Requiem for my Childhood") I've been in a rut. I have about 10 beginning ideas but I can't seem to progress beyond that... Eating some mushrooms usually replenishes my drive so hopefully within a month I'll be back up and running.

I'm really picky about things I start nowadays. I've got high running standards for myself--I really think I can pull it off soon and make something worthwhile. THEN it's going to NinjaTune, Mush, Warp, Astralwerks... I really think I can do better than some of the artists on those labels, I just have to do it first...  :smirk:

I appreciate the kind words bro. Any tracks/parts/sounds you enjoy particularly?

sometimes composing isn't going smooth, just be patient, you'll get new inspiration soon enough

I'm also planning on practice some more and within a few years send out demo's

yeah, I mean look at BoC. they NEVER tour and are very well known.

They are far from millionaires, but that's unrealistic in the music industry nowadays. An interview with Maynard right before Lateralus came out said he hadn't made his first million yet. Mind you, BEFORE Lateralus...

I'm on my way though for something new. I've got certain ideas I just have to get them down.

Your music makes my day, I've listend to it over and over again. I find it soothing, very subtle. I feel ashamed for not putting that much efford into my own stuff.

After having those episodes a lot (non-inspiration) i've taken it for normal now. When it is time, it will come again. I know I am a person who must make music, so music making is what I will do untill I die. I might not become a well known artist, or become very rich. But I know my music touches many hearts, and that is satisfying enough for me.  (Beeing rich would be nice tough  )

I know what you mean, personally i've sometimes released things I regret releasing. But you have to let that ride because it is a form of self torture.
You always learn from bad tracks, or you take out the good parts and use them for new projects.

There is only one track I don't like a lot, and that's the one which can be played forward and backward. I can hear the track is not equal with the others.
I would like to define that further, but I lack the words.

IMPO.

You've helped me out many times, and appreciate my style. An always willing ear and critic, which deserves respect and friendship.

Respect for you my friend. :peace:

yeah I agree with you. Deified is pretty crappy! But alas it exists to show myself I could actually make an entire musical palindrome out of a song. I didn't say it was gonna be very good...

When out for my friend's b-day party I noticed a gift she got - a book called "The Artist's Way" - about re-surfacing your creativity. I browsed through it for 5 minutes, and even got a little inspiration and started a new project

I'll be posting my advances and steps as I create the song.

You guys have always been my target audience (aside from myself), so this music is as much for you guys as it is for me!

Fliq I'm on the same level with ya man. I won't be depressed in the slightest if nothing happens substantially with my music on the market. I'll always know that I'll keep doing this until I die because there's nothing better I can imagine.

:peace:

Personally I was thinking of PDF or something that I can convert to PDF (since I can convert all documents & pictures into PDF, and then put it on my phone for on the road reading.

And I was refering to Blastrid concerning the auteur thing.

I still have your music on my mp3 player, man that stuff is great.
