Oyster shells?

Yesterday i was at a river and there where oyster shells everywhere I gathered a bag full can I crush this and use it as a buffer?

If you can PULVERIZE then to a powder, as fine as flour, they work.

try grinding them between 2 rocks after you break them up a little.

There is this pile of oyster shells that is over 50 feet high by 100 feet long...in a town near me.

I've been trying to think of ways to crush the living hell out of them for 2 years now.

It's nice living near such finds.

I was thinking that I might try crushing them with a air impact gun...with a special tool we used to use on boilers. :wink:

I live 30 miles from the coast ...we have tons upon tons of oyster shells...them shells are pretty tough

I cant find any crushed up enough...Ive been to a shitload of feedstores What they do have is for chickens to eat

Man, it's to bad you don't know someone with a little 5 or 6 hp Centrifugal IMPACT MILL. Little bastard would eat that big pile of oyster shell up faster than you could feed it & spit out tons of flour powder, faster than you could bag it.
