This is a mix of bird seed and rye, soaked for 24hrs then PCed for 1 hour and a half. Made holes on the lid and stuffed with polyfill, inserted needle and injected 2-3 ccs of spore solution. Is it supposed to look like this?

Tiny little white dots...
BTW, the jar was inoced on 03-29

no that is not PC mycillia that is some other mold, where did you get the syringe? its most likely your fault and not theres, you put the holes in and stuffing before you cooked right? but i have got bad syringes before from spores direct.

Nope...you arent supposed to put the holes in after you pressure cook, you put them in before. You probably followed some bull cocky advice Sorry man, but that looks like the start of contamination...green or bacterial...I'm not really sure..its a greenish brownish sludge often...not good either way...

Of course the hole where made prior to cooking... and I covered them with tinfoil to prevent contams.
The jar wasn't showing any growth spots after 5 days so I decided to give it a little gentle shake, that's when I noticed a kind of "lump" in the middle, as I moved the grain around so that I could see, it crumbled and those white dots appeared...
I hope it's not contamination, but we''l have to wait and see
