Newbie question on mycobag fruiting
    #4011796 - 04/04/05 06:10 AM (19 years, 9 months ago)

AFOAF has his 1st fruiting mycobag(b+), pinning like crazy all over including sides. Probably because of too much light and not being able to leave the bag alone for more than 6hours at a time. LOL! Looks like 1st harvest will be later this week. After harvest what is the best way of dealing with those hard to get to aborts or shrooms on the sides without damaging cake and/or bag. Cervantes talks about picking misting and resealing, but this may be easier said than done. Should he try to seal bag back up and hope for the best, or try to case?. If casing which would be the simplest and safest way?

I wear a pair of rubber gloves and pull everything from the top, I loosen the substrate from the bag and shift it around while its still in the bag and harvest that way, I sometimes allow it a second flush but normaly I case it in the bag

here is a little more on casing in the bag

If verm is WET, you can nuke it. Verm alone is not very good casing cover.
