My quest for the perfect harvest.

Here is another question for you shroom growers out there. I am trying to step up my sanitation procedures as much as I can. So I have decided to construct a glove box, my question is this: I have made the glove box out of cardboard I am thinking about adding aluminum foil to the inside base and walls just to sanitize with Lysol a little easier. And I think it would be more sanitary instead of having cardboard particles floating around in there. Since I haven't seen a glove box with it on the site I thought I might give it a try...yay or nay???

Well thats freaking odd. Never knew lysol could do that, what was the time span between you cleaning the box and doing the casings?

It is known that Lysol CAN cause mutations.

And as agar states, I think cardboard is a bad material for a glovebox. If that gets wet... Its partyheaven for all kinda fungi. And you wanna clean it so it will get wet.

Better use a plastic tub then or something. BTW I (also tip from agar) use H2O2 and Vinagre to clean my mushroomareas.
2 bottles spray after one another, wait a minute and wipe clean.
Very good cleaning method, they say better then bleech, and it isnt as harmfull as other stuff like lysol, at all.

why dont you just soak a paper towel with isopropyl and rub that around the container? using aerosols is quite a bad idea.
