Read something that sayed b+ grows better if it is cased then in cakes. Is this true?

Yep, you can expect better results in a properly prepared casing regardless of what strain you're using.

Any strain will do better if you case it. (better yield anyway)

Never heard of any strain doing better on cakes rather than casing.

But I'm just a rambling fool :crazy2:

That sounds like a myth. People probably just think that PF classic and PF tek go together.

Yes, casing will definitely increase yield. I recently finished my first flush of 5 BRF B+ cakes.

Total yield was 250 grams wet. Average of 50 gw. per cake.

Just harvested my first two casing's. Each one consisted of 2 1/2 pint BRF jars of B+.

Total yield wet, 259 grams wet, 138 and 121. Not only more weight, but much larger fruit. And these were my first casing's, I'm sure I have much more room for improvement with casing's versus cakes. Anyhow, if you take your average for your cakes, 50 gw, and multiply by 4, number of cakes cased, you get 200. Yield was 259 casing 4 cakes, increase of 29.5%. Don't know how this compares to other's, but that's what casing did for me so far.
Good Luck.
