Hey,
Is it at all possible for one to take a syringe and go outside and just shoot up a dead tree with spores and have it grow with nice yields?

That'd be like throwing a seed into space and asking if it'll grow
Anyways, No...It wouldn't work, you could inoculate dowels and then drill holes in logs and grow from there..But that's more so for wood-loving mushies than P.cubes...
Didn't mean to be a dick , i thought that you were joking

woodlovers fo sho. Matter of fact, i had 6 oak trees come down at my dads house in a storm last weekend. I and putting shiitake in 3 of the left over stumps and i now have yards and yards of oak mulch. So the outdoor bed is getting expanded. It had 3 species in it, i cant wait. I hope this guy doesnt want to grow cubes on a tree.

I agree....how should the Myc. look?

ONe isn't really growing and the others are...The one w/ the most myc. looks nice, kind of fluffy, any particular way it should look, got any pics for a reference?

i thikn it grows thicker on dex then it does on karo, honey. Yuo might be able to see rhizos shooting off from the clumps and the clumps are gernerally pea sized. I notice that myc on karo is thin and flakey
