ok the terrarium is 16x36x36. it is exactly 36 inches tall. i have setup a system with a valve and 2 long pvc pipes with 9 equally spaced holes across each. roughly spaced 4" apart. the only thing different is that i used all 1" pvc piping. i might downsize to 3/4" on the inner piping. My question to you Mcman, is-"Do I need some kind of heating duct?" or do you think i will b ok without it. there is a small amount of air escaping on the bottom right hand side of the system bc i have built a door and the latches allow a little to escape. for the most part, i have sealed it. I was also wondering if i need to put the exhaust valve on top. It seems to me that the air escaping is enough to be called an exhaust valve. the hygrometer says the rh is approximately 92% but it may be off bc i bought it at wallmart. I have been running the humidfier for about 6 hours now and it has reached 92%. The posative force coming from the 18 holes poked in 2 pvc pipes isn't very strong at all. I do feel it though. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I will keep monitoring and will let you know any progress. I spaced the two inner pvc pipes at the bottom and middle rack of my setup if you notice in the picture. also there is no condensation forming on the walls and when i tested the unit b4 no condensation ever formed and the hygr. said it was 100%rh.

Hey McMan,
I am now building 2 more containers. I think i was having problems bc the air flow was too heavey but i have adjusted it now. there is a little fog on the windows but that is all and I have some coco fiber casings in now. i grew off of cakes and they turned out excellent. I am thinking about using 2 more containers for fruiting only and use an exhaust valve always. and keep the large one for pinning.

Every piece of information or picture posted has nothing to do with reality and is a figment of my imagination.

why do you want their to be pressure inside the terrarium, and how do you get it???

it begins with an "m" and ends with an "ushroom"

positive pressure inside the terrarium helps keep unwanted particles from getting inside. Use a coolmist humidifier with a rigged output to pump the vapor into the terrarium. Club99 (i think) has a nice setup search this forum for it.
