Corn Cob Slurry anybody?

I haven't found many testamonials of this tek on the board, and I was wondering if any of you have tried this tek? I'm interested in moving up to growing on straw, and using corncob as a spawn seems very convienient. Thanks.

IMO its not to impressive. It contaminated several different times easily. Then it took forever when the one jar colonized to then colonize the straw. My friend's favorite bulk growing is with WheatStraw. The best to use is chopped up cakes crumbled between layers of wheatstraw that have been pasturized. Much easier and a VERY big yielder.
