I like moe. I don't like a lot of jam bands but moe. seem to be pretty good.

There are 721 live shows dating as far back as 1992 available for free download at http://www.archive.org/audio They already have 48 shows from 2005 available! Most of the shows are reviewed so you can get all the the heady shows. Most of the bands in the jamband and live electronica scene are available on this site, all in high quality lossless format, and you never pay a dime. You can stream a lot of the shows as well.

there is not 48 live shows in '05 available...all that is available now is:
1/1/05 Las Vegas, NV
Then 2/10/05 through 3/5/05, which would make like 20 shows maby?
With the 3 carson daily shows, there is 23 I guess you could say...
As far as suggesting some shows to check out:
11/27/04 was probably my favorite show of all of their 04 moe.terial
If you are a trey/phish fan, 2/10/05 was a 'tsunami benefit' show, which had moe. trey, sam bush, and someone else I think?
Anyways, this show was also a great show, and at the end, they played afew phish tunes w/trey..very nice stuff.
kake--I enjoy moe. if I need to travel to see 'em, then that is what I do.

for official releases, check out the "Instant Live" releases from Fall Tour last year, these are live CDs, and some of the sickest shows I've heard. They're soundboard recordings (vs. taper recordings from the archive.org) which means superior quality and better stereo mixing. The one I always recommend is The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC. This is by far my favorite moe. cd to listen to tripping as well.
