Little Flies on my Cake

Hello,
I went to fan one of my cakes this morning and I noticed two little gnat/flies crawling around on the cake and flying around in the terranium. I don't recall anything flying in there the last time I fanned. What's up with this? Has anyone experienced this before? Should I ditch the cake? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks....

They just happened to get in there. I wouldn't worry too much.

I wouldn't worry about it unless maggots grow on it.

One morning I found a HUGE blowfly buzzing around inside my terrarium and i was literally waiting to find maggots pooping up everywhere, but they never came - i was heaps worried about contams. too as we all know how clean blowflies are...

Just be careful because if they do lay eggs they are so small you won't see them til they hatch and maybe not even then. Then hundreds of little maggots will be crawling around in your grow space. Watch very carefully...maybe even get out a magnifying glass in a couple days. It is a horrible horrible experience if they do lay eggs.
