Planning a LSD trip

Well This summer i am planning to find some quality acid and trip with some friends. I have shroomed a few times before and know exactly what it's like. What differences should i expect? Am i going to have the same type of emotional thought, bonding with people. And any other advice would be greatly welcomed. Oh and what are your opinions on preference, i have heard eating large amounts of shrooms can equal a good acid trip. I say this because my dad told me about a time when he ate about two pounds of fresh psiclobe shrooms (the ones with the closed tops like a ball) He said he tripped for 3 days in a couch and could not move, not even his freinds stopping by disturbed him. Anyways your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Wow i am really pumped to do acid now after reading those threads. I remember that part in chich and chong when the doctor gave them hits of acid...lol Any ways, what are the physical side affects of LSD. Iv'e heard its puts holes in the brain? Sounds unlikely but just am wondering the damage it causes.

There are some good links there.
From what I have seen, LSD looks VERY safe (as long as you trip responsibly).
Know what to expect, and prepare well. There are no lasting physical side effects.
www.erowid.com has good, non-biased info about lsd as well.
LSD is a remarkably safe substance. No holes in your brain. I promise.

That's another bullshit myth......LSD is the physiologically the safest drug known to man, the only risks are mental, and they are slim......going nuts from a trip is extremely rare and only occurs when there are already dormant severe mental problems.

treat an acid trip similar to how you treat a shroom trip. get some good friends, find a nice setting, and get going. just remember to leave a little more time for it because acid lasts like twice as long.
in my opinion, nothing can 'equal' an acid trip. acid has its own little quirks that no other drug really has. i find it a lot more 'up' and more fun than shrooms, and yet also more insightful.
there are no adverse physical effects caused by eating acid (sometimes a little nausea on the come-up, but its nothing to worry about). some people do go nuts after doing it (this is extremely rare), but people who go nuts on acid would go nuts anyway. the acid just speeds up the process.

Acid is wonderful. It can't really be compared to shrooms, it's an experience of its own. You will not be displeased.

I found that funny for some sick reason. LSD is alot easier to handle than shrooms.

Yeah, it is. No funny feeling in your stomach, except right at the beginning, but it goes away.
